KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO. 1 TEZPUR, one of the prestigious educational institutions of Sonitpur ( Assam ). This centre of excellence which was first established in July 1971 as a defence sector school affiliated to CBSE. It is situated 12 Km North of Tezpur town in Army sector.
